This year's Make a Difference Day was a great success with 107 youth and
family volunteers taking part. Together we crafted more than 100 pieces of
jewelry that will raise funds for the young volunteers' philanthropy work.
NJNG attended the event with their mascot the Energy Hog to educate our
volunteers about energy conservation. Project PorchLight distributed free
energy saving light bulbs and Clean Ocean Action registered future
volunteers for Beach Sweeps as well as educated volunteers about the
importance of a clean ocean. We planted 300 flower bulbs on the InfoAge
campus and volunteers got to taste organic lollipops, cereals and taste
homemade soda as well as learn about worm composting and gardening.

Thank you to Tizzie, Abel, Bell, AJ, Caden, The Levenelm's, The Amato's, The
Beebe's, Georgiana, Nancy, NJNG, Project PorchLight, Clean Ocean Action, and
Steve for being on hand to offer tours to our volunteers.
