8.18 Electric Shop Building (Building 9034)

Architectural Feature: Exterior Shiplap Siding, Windows and Doors
 Date: 1942; 1985

The exterior of this rectangular single story wooden structure is badly peeling and some siding has come loose (Photo No. 81).  Exterior doors on west end are damaged and do not close properly.  Roll up doors were added in 1985 renovations for the StarWars project 'Pulse-power' (Photo No. 82).  A slight drainage problem exists on the southeast corner that is causing some water damage to siding.

Photos: 81, 82 and 207.

Proposed work

Repair damaged siding, Prepare surface, prime and paint during Phase I.  Repair damaged doors. Correct southeast corner drainage problem with minor re-grading.
