Architectural Feature: Interior
 Date: 1980s

The original, WWII era, interior of 9034 was lost when it was remodeled in the 1980s for the ‘Pulse Power Project’, a part of President Regan's StarWars initiative.  This building was used as an electric and transformer service shop for the Pulse Power project.  The interior sheet rock walls have begun to show signs of fungal infestation due to lack of heat for the past six years (Photos Nos. 83 and 84).

Proposed work

This building has dual proposed reuses.  The first is as a wood shop and the other is a communications in transportation exhibit and display.  The communications exhibit and display will be created and maintained by the Garden State Model Railroad Club of Asbury Park.  During Phase III, the interior will be remodeled into largely open space with support offices, workshop and restroom facilities.
