8.33 General Purpose Warehouse (Building 9084)

Architectural Feature: Exterior and Interior
 Date: 1946

This utility building, in the west courtyard of 'H' complex 9036/9037, is entered from the main passage connecting both 'H' complexes. It is a 20' x 80' metal building built on a concrete foundation with a poured concrete floor (Photo No. 116).  Its interior has no windows (Photo No. 117). It has a single rear exit door into the courtyard.  Its entrance passage wall has serious damage from sewer removal work (Photo No. 118).  Building is in need of paint.

Proposed work

During Phase I, repair damage to entrance wall.  Repaint exterior.  During Phase IV, determine an appropriate reuse or demolish.  Potential reuses are storage space or a small group video theater.
