8.35 General Purpose Warehouse  (Building 9086)

Architectural Feature: Exterior and Interior
 Date: 1943; 1980s

This utility building, in the west courtyard of 'H' complex 9036/9037 is connected to and entered by the central passage connecting 9036 and 9037.   It is a 20' x 80' metal building built on a concrete foundation with a poured concrete floor, with a rear 12' x 20' end extension and a 8' x 15' side addition (Photo No. 120).  It has exterior vinyl siding.  During the 1980s it was remodeled into office space with new secure doors, new windows, exterior window security grates. Evidence of high security entrance systems and alarm systems remains.  It has a single rear exit door into the courtyard.  It is in excellent condition and only requires new carpet to reuse (Photo No. 121).

Proposed work

During Phase IV, determine an appropriate reuse.  Potential reuses are storage space, administrative office space or lease space.
